I end this very interesting campaign overwhelmed by the response to my candidacy. I was astounded by the offers by virtual strangers to support my efforts by placing yard signs in their yards, and by the faithful legion of family, friends and neighbors who campaigned tirelessly, and continued to encourage me to the very end. I am touched and humbled by your commitment, sacrifice and support for me, in a race which few thought was winnable. Thank you for your friendship and encouragement; I am very proud of what we were able to accomplish together.

Although Ms. Mann continues as our Representative, our City still needs proactive legislative leadership. Hopefully this campaign allowed that message to get out, and it will result in a better informed electorate which will force her to be accountable in the future for both her actions and her lack of legislative initiative.

I will not give up on the campaign’s initiatives, including reversing the loss of young adult vitality in the City, finding alternative ways to help seniors remain in their homes, and securing funding for pre-elementary child training and development. Each promises a better Allentown for those who choose to live and work here.
